We conduct consultations with all stakeholders, which may be influenced or affected by the new or revised policy, with those whose information we need to resolve specific cases or for the development of qualitative proposals. The effective consultation process is considered according the opinions, views, constraints and expectations of all stakeholders.

Project preparation

The results of the survey of MBMD, conducted in July 2007 among beneficiaries and journalists within the national information campaign of the Ministry of Finance "Be active”, 69% of business representatives stated their intention to apply for European funds by developing their own projects. Greatest interest to the beneficiaries exhibit OP “Human Resources Development” (57%), “Regional Development” (45%), “Competitiveness” (41%), “Environment” (33%), “Technical Assistance” (32%) and “Transport” (10%).

The successful application and utilization of European funds, however, is directly linked to the awareness of business, local authorities, institutions and NGOs in respect of grant schemes, the specific conditions of application, the preconditions for successful preparation of project proposal and others. According to the study of MBMD, among the factors that hamper most beneficiaries of EU funds are the heavy bureaucratic procedures (52%), lack of funds for projects (31%), lack of practical information (27%), incompetent to develop projects (26 %), lack of information on funding (24%) and others.

What is the methodology of our trainings?

The basic procedure is common to use for all the available learning modules. The differences are the possibilities for combinations of subjects, including various methods and techniques that are used depending on the needs of learners. Working in the training process is conducted in groups of 20 or more people, step by step and continued until the completion of assigned tasks. The initial uncertainty of the participants in the training very quickly passes into confidence just the way what, why and how it should be done. The working atmosphere is pleasant and provokes creative thinking. Participants are fully equal. Respect is given to any feedback while encouraging team work. There are used interactive and group methods, focusing on communication and dialogue in the process of learning. Leading classes use short presentations of theoretical material in the form of exhibitions, reviews, reviews of best practices, flow charts, matrices procedures, analysis of situations, lectures and discussions, comments and her application forms that provoke interest and participation of students in classes. For better utilization of the theoretical material there is applied a dialog mode of communication between lecturers and students to adapt theoretical knowledge to the specifics of professional activities, obligations and responsibilities.

Training is supported with modern presentation equipment. The methodology of our training focuses on practice - individual or in groups. Practical training (drills), supporting the theoretical training is conducted through interactive methods - case studies, tests, tasks, stimulation games, training, demonstrations, discussions and other forms.
